During a shoot, you don't need to notice where the camera is. I don't stage anything and I won't keep asking you to look again. Sometimes I guide you a little, but I simply let you do what you would otherwise do anyway. Until, after a while, you forget I'm even there.
The child wiping their nose on your sleeve. The look of someone who thinks nobody is watching. Those are the photos you keep coming back to later.
Before we start, I usually already know who's who, who's a little reserved and who can't sit still for a second. That way we can simply get going right away. Without that first half hour in which everyone still has to get used to the camera.
Every photo passes through my hands, one by one. Carefully finished, in high resolution and ready to print. Edited naturally, without trends you'll grow tired of later.
